States with which North Carolina has Comity

 

Pursuant to Rule .0502(4), before an applicant from one of these jurisdictions may apply for admission by comity in North Carolina, the applicant must satisfy the Board that the jurisdiction from which the applicant is applying will admit North Carolina attorneys to the practice of law in such jurisdiction without examination, other than the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination.

The following is a list of States with which North Carolina has comity. This list is subject to change. To ensure eligibility, please check with your particular jurisdiction before submitting an application.
