Current Bar Examination Dates & Locations

The North Carolina bar examination is given twice a year, in February and in July, on the last Tuesday and Wednesday of the month.

Dates of the February 2025 Bar Examination are as follows:

• February 2025 – February 25 and 26
• The passing score is 270 points.

Locations for the February 2025 Bar Examinations are as follows:

• February 2025 – The North Carolina State Fairgrounds and the Jane S. McKimmon Center at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina.
