Beginning with February 2023 NC Bar Exam - Applicants Not Permitted to Handwrite MEE/MPT

Beginning with the February 2023 North Carolina Bar Examination, applicants will not be permitted to handwrite the Multistate Essay Examination (MEE) and Multistate Performance Test (MPT) components of the North Carolina Bar Examination.  Unless granted a testing accommodation due to a disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act, applicants must take these portions of the examination on personal laptop computers using software designated by the Board.
